Oamaru Green Cottage

During our travels in NZ, we stayed at several nice hotels and apartments, but the Oamaru Green Cottage was by far the best. The cottage is beautiful, comfortable, and home-like, with a stunning view of the sea from the living room window. The amount of sunlight that floods the cottage in the morning is incredible, making it a bright and refreshing space to relax. Plus, the kitchen/dining/living area is so inviting and well-equipped that we found ourselves spending most of our time there. The location is great, with easy access to the old harbor area of Oamaru. it was a lovely and memorable stay.

I had a wonderful stay at a charming cottage near the historic parts of town. The location was perfect, with easy access to the old wharf and a steam punk playground for my son. The views of the old wharf were amazing. The cottage itself was beautifully renovated, with superb facilities. It had everything we needed for a comfortable stay, including a washing machine, CDs, and DVDs. The cleanliness was really good, and the communication with the owner was excellent. I highly recommend this place for anyone visiting the area.

The location of this holiday house is mind-blowing! The views of the harbour are jaw-dropping and it's so convenient to walk to the playground, bike track, and Victorian Precinct. Plus, being able to walk to the penguin colony is a super bonus. The house itself is clean and cozy, with all the necessary facilities like wi-fi, an electric kettle, and a flat-screen TV. The laundry facilities were a great perk too. staying here was a fantastic experience and I would highly recommend it to anyone.

Easy-to-find cottage with clear access instructions. No off-street parking, but conveniently located. Perfect size for two couples or a couple with children. Picturesque harbor view from lounge. Short walk to old harbor area, driving to modern town is easy.

We had a good stay at this charming cottage with its nice views. The interiors were beautifully retro and cozy. The hostess went the extra mile with a sweet anniversary surprise. It was the highlight of our trip!

Although the furniture had an old-fashioned touch and the colors were darker, it added to the cottage's unique charm. The distance from the city center was a minor inconvenience, but the tranquility and proximity to everything Oamaru has to offer outweighed it.

The cottage was perfectly sized for two couples or a couple and children. the interior was exactly as it appears in the photos, with a very comfortable lounge and bed. the location was perfect, with a great view of the harbour and an easy walk to the old harbour area. the house was very clean and had everything we needed for a convenient and comfortable stay.

The location was perfect, close to the heritage precinct and a short walk to the park. The staff, particularly Lilly, were friendly and helpful. We can't wait to come back!

The only thing that could have been better was the breakfast selection. It could have had a bit more variety.

The value for money at Green Cottage was excellent, with a clean and well-decorated room that had everything we needed. The location was fantastic, with beautiful views of the harbor and easy access to the Victorian Precinct, playground, and bike track. The staff were lovely and made us feel welcome, providing us with helpful information about the town.

The hotel breakfast could be improved with a greater variety of options.
